Patrick Moodie is a visionary who set out to transform motion health by taking it out of the labratory and into the real world. In doing so, he created and co-founded DARI—the world’s only markerless predictive human motion analytics system. His background in biomechanics and drive for innovation served as a launching pad for the technology in 2009. Since hitting the market, DARI has grown exponentially with established partnerships in healthcare, corporate wellness programs, professional and collegiate programs, and high-profile performance facilities.
As co-founder and managing partner, Moodie drives innovation and provides leadership for DARI. He also creates and manages products, services, infrastructure, and office operations.
Moodie graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in exercise science/kinesiology in 2005. Two years later (2007), he earned his master’s degree in biomechanics. Moodie is now on track to receive his second master’s degree in business administration, specializing in management of data analytics, from Louisiana State University in 2018.
Throughout his time at DARI, Moodie has received several notable awards associated with his contribution to the company. He is a three-time Edison Award Winner (2013, 2014, 2015), and was recognized on behalf of DARI for Kansas Technology Company of the Year in 2016. Moodie also has one assigned patent, along several provisional patents.
